mplayer, the great video player, has a fully configurable, command-driven control layer which allows you to control MPlayer using keyboard, mouse, joystick or remote control (with LIRC).

Fore example:

Seek backward/forward 10 seconds.

up and down

Seek forward/backward 1 minute.

pgup and pgdown

Seek forward/backward 10 minutes.

Decrease/increase current playback speed by 10%.

my birthday present to me

I just turned 38 yesterday so this blog is my birthday present to me. been wanting to start my own blog for a long time but never managed to "find the right time". so here it is. the right time. and my blog.

I have been working from home for the last 7 years and by now i can not imagine my life any different. I plan to do a calculation soon to investigate how much resources I have been saving this planet over those 7 years.

I am going to publish here when I'll have it ready.
