Dot-to-dot book with original language teaching concept launched in Colombia, Mexico and United States

A dot-to-dot book combining Conceptis Dot-a-Pix puzzles with an original English teaching concept for Spanish kids was launched in Colombia by Grupo Editorial Adria on May 1, 2007.

Branded Puntos Locos (Spanish for Crazy Dots), each page contains a puzzle as well as several dot-to-dot connections translating puzzle-picture related words from Spanish to English. Puntos Locos is an intellectual activities book for kids, which provides a joyful English learning experience at the same time.

Puntos Locos (ISBN 978-958-95909-4-2) is a 32 page, 21.5 x 28 cm book containing 20 B&W and Color Dot-a-Pix puzzles starting from 40 dots in the smaller puzzles and ending with 450 dots in the large puzzles, including the giant color centerfold. The book is available in shops all over Colombia and will be distributed in the rest of Latin America and in Hispanic communities within the United States.

“English has a special importance in Colombia due to the close relationship with our northern friends in the United Sates" explains Domingo Jaramillo, manager of Grupo Editorial Adria. "It is also an important tool for global communications and Internet. Our idea with this book and the next ones is to offer not only enjoyment of puzzles but also a language learning experience".
